Digital technologies improving civic engagement, political organisations and democracy

About the Action

RELINK2 will explore the features of the digitalisation of political organisations in the EU Member States (and beyond) and their consequences to provide evidence-based advice, recommendations and other policy-oriented outputs. The Action will explore how political organisations are promoting secure and inclusive digital transformations, focusing on digitally and politically marginalised groups.

Meet our Working Groups

The network will tackle challenges through research coordination objectives. Four Working Groups will be formed to bring in expertise on: 1) theoretical and 2) methodological challenges, 3) empirical analysis, 4) engagement and dissemination.

Theoretical Challenges

Develop a shared theoretical framework to understand how digitalisation affects political organisations.

Methodological Challenges

WG2 will create a robust and harmonised research tools for comparative analysis.

Empirical Analysis

WG3 will collect and analyse evidence on the digital practices of political organisations.

Engagement & Dissemination

Bridge research and practice by engaging stakeholders and co-creating policy outputs.
