Day 1
The first day of the COST Action ReLink2 WG2 Hybrid Meeting and Joint Workshop -Tackling Methodological Challenges – was held at Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas, Lithuania. It brought together participants for a valuable programme of discussion, reflection, and collaborative work.
Framed within COST Action CA23114 – “Regaining linkage? Digital technologies improving civic engagement, political organisations and democracy”, the event focused on:
- first results on mapping research methods on digitalization of political organizations and inclusion;
- developments of the Ethics guidebook;
- Co-creation of the Methodological Toolkit
The meeting finished with the overview and next steps for WG2, highlighting the value of international and interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing research on digital technologies, civic engagement, and democracy.
Day 2
The second day of the COST Action ReLink² WG Meeting and Joint Workshop, held in Kaunas, Lithuania, continued with a rich programme of discussion and collaborative exchange across Working Groups. Framed within COST Action CA23114 – “Regaining linkage? Digital technologies improving civic engagement, political organisations and democracy”, the day focused on strengthening shared methodological approaches, exploring stakeholder involvement, discussing Working Group contributions to data collection, and reflecting on expert surveys for concept validation. The programme also highlighted the first ReLink² Training School, reinforcing the importance of coordinated, interdisciplinary, and cross-group collaboration in advancing research on digital technologies, civic engagement, political organisations, and democracy.
